Twitter has decided to recreate its logo into a more simplified and also more optimistic version.

Ever since I learned that the interface for the new Twitter was created based on the golden ratio, my respect for them has increased dramatically. As one of the skeptics upon Twitter’s first appearance, I must now say that I have been proven wrong and believe Twitter is not only a great idea, but also will outlive Facebook — at least as far as what’s considered “cool”.

Here’s to you Twitter. May your new logo be the sign of a new beginning and may you continue to grow and spread your wings!
